Inside OAU Innovations RC 2978321 is a registered Conglomerate under the corporate affairs commission, Inside OAU Innovation is a multi-media business outfit in Obafemi Awolowo University.IOI as it is called by most has been something Fawole Tomi had always wanted to do. The inspiration behind IOI is creating an innovation. As a kid and growing into a techpreneur, he has always wanted to do something in whatever community and situation he found himself. Right from secondary school he created a blog where his friends and people could download games and music, and could also read updates. Then he would write the blog address in a paper in multiple copies and would begin distributing them with the help of his friends, so people could go check the blog.
On getting to OAU he then sat down to identify the major problems and thought of creating a solution. He thought about creating a multi media business enterprise that provides solution to all problems faced by students and came up with an innovation that is going to involve education, entertainment and financial aspect of Obafemi Awolowo University. This was the conception of Inside OAU Innovation. This dream for Inside OAU Innovation has always been since 2017 but didn’t come into full manifestation until 2019 when it was birthed and began full operations.
Starting wasn’t all rosy, it was a rough start but has been doing great that as at 2020 IOI had begun to gain audience and ambassadors.
