Ibrahim Lateef Adebayo is an actor, content creator, a skit maker, and anchors events as a master of ceremony (MC). He is also a creative writer, he writes poems and stories.

Early Life

He was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Adebayo on the 23rd of April,1999. One of the last children out of many others, he was born in Ile-Ife town of Osun State, Nigeria where he has lived most of his life, but hails from Ila-Orangun, Osun State, Nigeria

Education

Ibrahim Lateef Adebayo though not a native if Ile-Ife, he has lived and schooled all his life in Ife. He had his basic education at Ansar-un-deen Primary School, Ogba-agbara, Ile-Ife and the went on to Seventh day Adventist Grammar School for his secondary education. Later in life, though he wished to further his education outside Ife town, but being among the babies of the house, his mum kicked against it, and he was left with no other choice but to apply to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Osun State. He is currently a Penultimate Student of the department of History and Education.

Career and Personal Life

He discovered the love for acting during the Covid-19 pandemic break though he noticed the ability to excellently mimic  whatever character which made his  friends continually push him to doing so. This continued for a while, until he summoned the courage to begin in 2020. During this period , he created an instagram account and followed different actors, would try to mimic  them, then would post and tag them for recognition, little did he know that even beyond these actors, different top-notch producers in the industry recognized his excellent work.

One of the things that inspired Ibrahim Lateef Adebayo and has kept him going, is the presence of Lateef Adedimeji in his Life. Lateef Adedimeji who Ibrahim fondly calls his star brother has been his biggest inspiration, his lifestyle, his acting style, every single thing about Adedimeji Lateef is an inspiration to Ibrahim. He describes the impact of Adedimeji Lateef who is an inspiration to him as tremendous, “he has really been supportive, the whole Adedimeji family has been good to him”, he says.

Vision

He is a huge believer in hardwork work as he sees himself with the power of hardwork and commitment to his career becoming an icon and force to reckon with in the entertainment industry in some years to come. At the rate his career is now, as he is just beginning, God helping him in a couple of years to come he sees himself going for the AMVCA.

Déjà vu

In the cinema showing movie Déjà vu , he played an important role, in the movie he was known as Boda Lasisi. He played the role of an old gatekeeper, that had a very close connection with the family as they always involved him and always did seek advice from him concerning major family issues. He was kind and of good character to the family which made the mother of the husband share and discuss family issues.

 Academics and Career

Balancing career and Academics has really been a tough one for him, but he understands that in whatever he does one shouldn’t suffer for the other. Basically anytime he has a shoot during lectures and he is sure that the class isn’t going to have a test, he forfeits it and goes for the shoot but anytime a test or an exam clashes with a shoot, he asks for a rescheduling and during examination periods he takes excuse from shooting.

Challenges

One of the major things that possess as a challenge to him in the entertainment industry is shortage of funds. He has a lot of stories and concepts but all of these need money to be brought to screen.

Achievement and Recognitions

He has been conferred with an Award of Excellence from the Muslim Society of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

Social Media Effect

The impact of social media is immeasurable on his career. He describes social media as the strength of his career. The views and recognitions all come from social media. Presently he has about 12,000, 152,000, 13,000, 24,000 views on Instagram from different posts.
