He at a point was made the Executive director of The sun newspaper and was then promoted to be Managing director of The Sun newspaper. He also served as the president of Nigerian Guild of Editors, a post he contested for and won. He also re- contested and still won but stepped down and also resigned from The sun newspaper, after his political appointment as the Special advisor on media and publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Personal Life.
Femi Adesina is married to one wife in person of Mrs Nike Adesina who has been very excellent at staying away from the preying eyes of the public, living many personal details unrevealed. The family is blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. The girl is off public eyes but the boy Oluwatobi Adesina is in his early twenties. Oluwatobi is a licensed pilot with his training certificate in aviation from South Africa. Femi Adesina is a privileged Pastor and Man of God with Four Square Bible Church. He is an Executive member of the Full Gospel Business Fellowship. He was conferred with the traditional title of Nwanne Di Na Mba (a brother in another land) of Mmaku kingdom, Enugu State during the 1st Grand Ofala festival of Igwe Cyprain Nevobasi also conferred with another traditional title in Isieketa, Isiala Ngwa area of Abia. He was given the title Ugo Mba by the Isiala 1 of the Isieketa Kingdom Eze Elder Nelson Nmerengwa.
