Personal life
Miss Pelumi comes from an all-girls family. She was born on the 17th of February, 2003. She has 4 sisters and she’s the second. She hails from Ilesha in Osun State. She was born in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Education
She started her education in Bible Life International Nursery and Primary school then proceeded to University of Ibadan Staff school in the year 2011 where she had her primary 5 and 6 classes. She then went to The International School, University of Ibadan (I.S.I) for her secondary school education and finished in the year 2019. She is currently in her second year in the University of Ibadan, department of Psychology. She’s also the current University of Ibadan Freshman of the year.

Career
Àriké Onibàtà started her business officially on the 31st of November, 2020. She has always wanted to learn shoe-making since she was a child as she has always been fascinated with shoes. She was fully motivated by her aunt who is a also shoe-maker. Her entry into the shoe-making world was not smooth or easy. She had to wait after a lot of plea and convincing speech for her parents to allow her have her long time time dream.

Challenges
Miss Pelumi has been faced with situations that push her further to do more. Although as a start-up, it’s not always easy with funding the business. It’s one day, she has it all sorted out, and the next day, she’s looking for grants or loans.
Handling school, work and every other thing has not been easy but she learnt how to balance and efficiently use her time. She learnt when to take a break and when to put more energy. With God’s help and guidance, She is able to balance everything she does.
