Pork Belly Cracklings

  • 3 pounds of pork belly
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 tbsp of Cajun seasoning

Kitchen Equipment:

  • cast-iron pot


  1. Keep the pork belly in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
  2. Cut the pork into cubes of three-fourth inch.Fill a cast-iron pot with one-fourth portion of water.
  3. Add one tsp. of Cajun seasoning.
  4. Boil the water.
  5. Add the cubes of pork belly.
  6. Cook for twenty minutes.
  7. Cover the pot once fat begins to pop and sizzle.
  8. Cook for fifteen minutes.
  9. Drain the pork cracklings.
  10. Sprinkle remaining seasoning from the top.
  11. Serve immediately.
